After dinner speech
|
Norfolk Registration ServiceOur sincere thanks go to the two registrars from Kings Lynn. Alison Ding who held the preliminary legal meetings and offered so much useful advice prior to the ceremony and Kathleen Rose who conducted the ceremony with such style. No guest would have known that ours was one of the first Civil Parnerships organised outside of the Registras Office in Kings Lynn at the time, it was so well conducted. Alison also kindly read the piece from Captain Corelli's Mandolin beautifully. Both ladies seemed as excited as we were and helped guide us through the ceremony with professionalism without losing the human or humorous touch. Anybody considering taking the plunge but worried that the Ceremony would be too cold or too bound in legalese should not be concerned. We both found it highly emotional and meaningful.
